This is so curl i cant believe people are still fishing when the fish population is decreasing at an uncontrollable rate very disappointing :(

The biggest threats to aquatic life are pollution by chemical and human waste. Still going on in Arklow and other counties with thousands of gallons every day pumping into the sea, complete with shampoo and washing powders etc. Not to mention oil and chemical slicks and run off from farms. Then also large scale fishing where they throw thousands of tons of undersized fish back dead. So fishing to eat or release is relatively harmless. After all it's fairly dog eat dog down there anyway. How much has just been contributed in the last few minutes by all of us?. 5000gallons I n Ireland alone maybe. If you want to voice an opinion (and quite rightly) start where it matters with government, instead of just voting on their empty promises.
