When I first tried to do this myself, I had no idea what was what or how any of it worked. I did know a little bit about how to solder and that was it. This is how I learned to do just about everything I've learned about how guitar electronics work. You quickly learn that guitar electronic circuits are very simple, and easily modified to do pretty much anything you want them to do, within their abilities of course. But you need to walk before you can run, and this is how I started.
