How To Change Administrator Account On Windows 10 [Tutorial] 

For those of you, that came here to ACTUALLY change your standard account to an administrator account (which this video does NOT show), you would have to click on the "Change the account type" function and press the "administrator" button and hereafter click the "Change account type". Your account is now changed to administrator. Your other account, which was the only administrator account before, is still administrator which means, that you can have two administrative accounts if you want to. If not, you can click on the other account and do the opposite and in that way downgrade it to "standard account".

This DOES NOT help to change administrator account, or who the administrator is. It only allows you to change another EXISTING account.

How do you change a newly added account to administrator? Windows won't even let me change the admin account back to standard as the option is greyed out. I'm trying to get rid of the current admin as I have totally forgot the details I used to open it years ago. I recently decided I wanted something from the store and it's asking for the password? I Can't recover it, So I've made a new account.. I want it to be admin and get rid of the other one and have new one linked to the store and everting as my main and only windows account.

What? Title is about changing the "Administrator" account, but this only shows adding a password.

ok see at 1'10 you have tthe signin option min show only NO as a option im getting so tilted after clicking manage another account to continu enter admin and password my options are NO and thats it im stuck in this cycle can you help
