MAN ! You are one great teacher! At least for me I totally understand how you communicate... you remind me of my shop teacher in high school. Mr Tomas. One of my favorite teachers. He also taught mechanical and architectural drawing... which I like as well.
I love my bandsaw. Been using it more and more over my table saw to rip stock down lately. That ending where you say “uh oh” remind me of when I was trying to resaw a log and the grain twisted inside and almost yanked the log out of my hand. Kind of startling 😳
When I install band saw blades, I typically put the bottom of gullet of the blade towards the center of the wheel. No problems encountered doing this. The bottom of the gullet not always the center of the blade.
@@wortheffort Yes you did say gullet of blade. I must have missed it in the video the first time I viewed it and having the xyz chatting in the room. Sorry. Good refresher on band saws and blades.
Instructions with new blade insist it must be untensioned when not in use, just as with a bandsaw sawmill. Manual for the WEN bandsaw doesn't mention relaxing tension. Do you and other woodworkers leave the tension set all the time?
