Thank you so much man, on both of the standard output lists I only get my headphones even though i had my monitor as options while i was using windows 10. With the ''More sound settings'' I could find the entire list again with my monitor speakers, thanks again this was very very helpful.

Helpful! Couldn’t understand why my surround sound worked on my laptop but not on my desktop. Switched over to the plugin jack setting and now my external speakers work. Thanks.

thanks for making this video! i still have issues with my desktop audio coming through the speakers and my mic picking it up. is there a way to turn off the speakers but still have the desktop audio be captured by OBS? i keep having problems with the music or gameplay sounds looping on OBS because its capturing the desktop audio and then my speakers are on so my mic is picking it up too and looping it

Thank you! Is there a way to connect a Logitech X540 5.1 surround system (which was connected to my old PC by surround audio ports in that PC) to a new Windows 11 PC that has only one out port, one in, and one mic? Audio is Realtek Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.2 combo. Any help would be most appreciated. I've read that in Realtek Audio Manager I should be able to reconfigure the 3 audio ports, but I can't find Audio Manager although I've checked to be sure the Realtek HD audio driver is the latest version.

Is there a way not to have to adjust the volume on the output jack, ie. too much volume can harm your ears Jazz, every time i turn on the computer?

I have accer predator 15 with windows 11 and I want to run digital output to my outboard dac ' I have use Tidal streaming service which goes up to 192khz resolution but laptop only putting out a constant 48khz ? But if I use my phone to my dac I get all the resolutions bit depth/sample rate from 44.1 kHz to 192khz but can't figure out how to set my labtop up for higher resolution dac ' ?

Question. When I have the sound window open and I go to configure....my old computer used to have Quadrophonic, 5.1 surround and 7.1 surround. The new/used computer I have now only has stereo . Is there a way to add these capabilities to this computer? It's a Dell Precision 3630 and I'm running Windows 11.

What if I want the audio to come out of multiple different devices? For example, I have 3 headsets with microphones that I sometimes use all at once or one at a time, but I don't want to have to change the configuration every time. I also want to be able to share the same headphones, so that another person can talk using a different microphone on the same computer. What options are there for this kind of setup?

Great Video for the two items mentioned. I wonder if you know how to enable two BT speakers to pair in stereo Mode as well. This is a big item in Win11, thousands of folks are currently struggling with this issue. You would be a big HERO to us if you could solve this problem associated with BT speakers pairing!

Hey so I’ve noticed a big difference in sound quality between windows 10 and 11…. Windows 11 plays music or audio from video games bigger and smoother, ( yes I have disabled every audio enhancements for every windows I’ve compared this to) I honestly liked windows 7 for how it played audio the best….. is there a way I can actually changed my windows 11 to how windows 10 or windows 7 plays audio?

I can only switch from my logitech surround set to my sennheisser gsx 1000 (headphones) bij turning the one in use off, in the menu with the green icons, than i can turn it back on, same if i want to reverse back to my main speakers i have to turn headset off and back on, just setting it as standard or in the menu low right corner of the screen does nothing. any idea?

im trying to set speakers as default but is not working, my output gets back to elgato sound capture. looks like its blocked on it i can t do anything. i cant hear anything on my obs while streaming like gameplay sound coming from my elgato, and alerts either, people can hear it on stream tho. any solution? and yes, i have the setting on monitor and output but doesnt come in the monitor at all

great video easy to understand. the reason why i came to this video is: suddenly all audio no matter what i choose or change in settings goes trough my headphones. its suddenly impossible to get sound trough realtek(pc speakers) if i turn of my headphones theres just no sound. this is no matter what i do. i feel i have tried it all. this happened after i connected my headphones with wire to pc usb to charge them(usually i just use mobile charger or powerbank to charge them). everything seems ok. the sound just wont go too pc speakers when i want it to. all drivers on pc has the latest update and my headphones are razer , dont remember what modell . any tips?

My usb output from my labtop only puts out 48khz I have Tidal and tracks that are 192khz but labtop on puts out 48khz - but my phone does it all mqa 44.1-192khz ? I have the new access predator

Hi, how do I stop Win11 from changing my default sound device, I have my TV speakers set as the default device but when I change over to my wireless headphones it changes the default device to the headphones so when I turn off my headphones it doesn't change back to my TV speakers leaving me with no sound until I manually change to the TV speakers and they become default again. My speakers have been on Default but when I got to any site requiring sound like Netflix, I have to click on the speaker since it's off. Either my PC is defective or you just left it out. I will keep searching

Okay so my problem is that, I had uninstalled a drive on my computer thinking that this would help it was a steam microphone, and now I have steam speakers, and the only thing that comes up is steam streaming speakers, now my pluggable audio is my realtec headphones, steam streaming speakers is the only output that I have why is my steam streaming speakers the only output I have, and also the back of my PC doesn't have an audio port only my CPU has one, and my CPUs audio port doesn't work so I'm a little confused here.

Sooooo...how do I get it to where I dont need to click on all of that? I want to be able to set it to where when I don't have headphones connected, my speakers automatically play and then when I do connect my headphones, my headphones play and speaker goes off.

Its not working for me. Im on win 11 and i only see "Speaker output" but tis playing through my headphones not speakers. I was able to do it before where i was playing games where my chat would come through headphone and game would come through speakers but i do not have that option.

Hey pal! I have one issue, actually when my headphones and speakers both are connected simultaneously and then when i switch from my headphones to the speakers which are connected from the rear panel the sound dosent switch and then i have to plug out my headphones from my front panel and then it plays audio from my speakers. Is there any way to switch audio to speakers when my headphones are connected?

I know for some earbuds you need to take them out of the case in a certain order because the earbuds connect together and then they connect to Bluetooth after. Other than that I'm not sure.

The easy stuff I got I want to know how to do the hard stuff I got three outputs how do I put different sounds sources on all three of those output how do I control the volume of 2 or more different tabs on my web browser or Microsoft just don't care about giving usability to their supporters
