How to change battery and Strap/Band for Timex intelligent quartz | The Compass Watch 

I just replaced the Battery in my Timex IQ and your video was a great help.

Use kitchen dish cleaning sponge with the sharp side to mask the scratches on the back. It happened to me as well. I also damaged screw holding battery, because none of Philips screwdrivers fit, but I managed to remove it and put it back. Now I am struggling with closing the cover. The watch already started disappointing me since compass doesn't with anymore and the plate with some digits shifted. Great design but I have rather frustrating experience.

Strap is hard to remove. Timex should have used a quick release strap instead of this screw bar.

Is there an internal reset switch that needs to be pushed so that other functions start working. My watch gives certain beeps when the Tide button is pressed and the Temp is at 0 degree C - all this after battery change.

How did you close the back with hands

Wish the band replacement was easier. Looks quite simple in the video, but real life those screws are difficult to get out. I've tried wd-40 and still they won't release
