Helpful video but for the life of me I can't figure out why a better design wasn't done that makes it obvious how to open the case - 1 or 2 Philips screws would do the trick. This same lack of obvious ways to open cases design is especially egregious for some Liftmaster wall mounted remotes. I wonder how many remotes are broken by users trying to access battery compartments on these remotes - a lot, I bet. Maybe that's Liftmaster's point. Grump! Thanks again.

I have a old lift master control I believe the back came off and it's missing a battery. It looks to be a long battery not a round battery.
