There is the Air filter for the engine. That one is under the hood. Then there is the Cabin air filter for the A/C. That one is inside near the glove compartment.
Good lord same year renegade trailhawk is infinitely more complex for zero reason! 7 bolts outside one inside -which of course is a different size so why they made the Renegade's SO much more complicated is beyond me🤦🏼♀️
It should be labeled on the cover that holds the filter in. If not, look inside where the filter came out for the blower. May need a flash light. Kinda looks like a weird fan. Point the arrow in that direction. If it’s on top, point up. If it’s on bottom, point down.
