Thanks for the clear explanation. Pretty shocking that Hyundai can make cars but no easy way to replace car remote key battery, perhaps using a push button.
LED takes very less battery compared to the signal transmitted from the key. You can try locking/unlocking your car at 1 meter then move away another meter in increments and try again. If battery is low it will key will not work after 2-3 metres. Pressing the button hard will only spoil your remote.
Finally my lock system worked after battery replacement... but hyundai service center technicians without checking key told me that whole lock system of vehicle needs to be changed and they ordered the same alongwith key set as my vehicle was under warranty... thanks to youtube and ur channel bz of which i saved my vehicle from tampering ....what will they do with the ordered lock set
