isn't it best to remove the engine oil cap and oil filter first before draining the oil? just curious.

You make it look so easy. Should I worry about trapped air or there a way to purge/bleed after filling? Like you said confidence. Cheers.

Great job man I needed to change the oil in my Mercedes CLK 240 coupe and I removed the splash guard but I couldn't find the sump plug bolt after looking at your video I found it the 13mm bolt thank you

Hello my friend I really enjoy your videos they’re always so detailed and I share them with friends and family who have Mercedes Benz I’ve been a mechanic for 17 years my wife has a Mercedes-Benz CLK 350 V6 and I just got through putting in a new oil pan first time working on a Benz and my question is it takes 8 to 8 1/2 quarts of European formula mortar oil now after doing that the dipstick and the information on the dash says I still need to check my oil at the next stop of service and there’s no way I’m gonna put more oil in it is there any reason or any info that you can send me or text me about the reading of oil level being steel on tip of dip stick where it reads mini thank you👍💯

Dang! This is the fourth or filth video, I still don't see about the small O ring. I'm guessing it goes where the spring is, to prevent oil from flowing back down, but just not sure how to get it apart safely. Or, is it just an extra seal, used only for some filter housings?

Hi- I am in the USA and have a 2005 clk500 (w209) and in the very rear of engine near windshield (middle closer to passenger side) I have a tube that´s missing the top cap. Is this where the engine oil dipstick would go or is it to add transmission fluid? It is visible without having to remove the engine cover.Thanks!

i have a question i just bought a clk 200 kompressor 2004 en it runs nice but i notice that theirs a tube on top of the engine that melted en its smoking its right on top of the engine i was wondering if its possible for you to tell me what's the name of that tube that i need en where does it goes to. if you want i can send you a video or a picture of it .

Thanks for this! It was very informative and concise. This Clk looks sketchy from the unmatched under-hood red/black inner fenders.... Next time it would help to point out the specific engine as different motors likely have different drain and filter locations. I'll keep checking back!!!
