Good video but you didn't show how you removed the fork seal from the lower fork. You showed taking out the dust seal but I didn't see how you removed the fork seal.

The whole reason i watched the video was for that missing moment. SMH.

Thank you for taking the time to do this video. I have the same bike and need to do the same thing so watching this tells me I can do it without any special tools.

Curious as to how you got the old seal out? Having difficulty getting mine out.

Got it, just needed a beefier screw driver.

Some times you can heat the outside of the fork with a heat gun or a propane torch

The forks appear to be just like my sons 06 kx65. Thanks for the info

Never mind. I saw in the comment below that you used a big flat head screwdriver. Thanks for the video...

U could also use a large flat tire iron

Good video. But you never see how to remove the old seal. Sometimes that is the hard part. And the importance of not scaring the seal seat area . ..

I had someone else who asked to, I think I had responded in an earlier message. There are a few types of tools u could use, a large flat screwdriver or a tire iron. Once the upper leg is removed from the lower tube, u just pry it up by using the top of the lower tube. . Thanks for your question

Can u show where u ordered the parts from and do u think it would be the same for a xr70r instead of a crf70
@franklincycles7462

What did you use to get your seals out?
@franklincycles7462
@franklincycles7462 4 года назад
I used a big flat screwdriver, you just need to be careful not to scratch the inside of the fork. You can also use a tire iron, they work well too

You didn’t show us how to take the seals out ......
@franklincycles7462
@franklincycles7462 3 года назад
I think I mentioned it in the comments , but if u didn’t see it I will tell you, you use either a a tire iron or a fat screwdriver to pry the out, ty
