I've had the mechanic change the entire suspension system on my astra g, recently. But there's about 2 centimeters of gap left, between the uppermost part of the suspension system (the one you see when you open the hood) and the chassis. Mechanic said it was perfectly normal, that part was supposed to move up and down while you drive, so there was nothing wrong with it. But, in this video, I see that there's no gap left between those at all. I'd appreciate it if you would clarify this issue for me. Thanks in advance.
The Mechanic tells me it takes 3-4 hours to change both the front and the rear shock absorbers. To me watching these videos it takes no more than 1 hour if no problems occurs.
Thank you for your comment! It all depends on the technical condition of the parts assemblies, in some cases this replacement may take even more than 4 hours. Best Regards, Autodoc team.
