How To Change Golf Spikes/Cleats

I enjoyed making this video, hope you enjoy watching it. Depending on how much you golf, you should change your cleats out every year and the end of the season, or every 6-9 months if you golf A LOT.
You NEED a golf spike wrench, you cannot remove the cleats without it unless you have superman powers.

Can i just use the same toothbrush i use with toothpaste or do i have to buy a new one

Just changed mine today and it was pure hell... Even messed up a couple new ones when installing

informative thanks, i only needed to twist it once sometimes to be secure but you saying to twist it three times helped me to fix a wobbly piece

Keep in mind that maintenance is the key. It takes me about 10 mins to use an ice pick to clean out the spike holes, pop out the spikes and toss then in soapy water, use a toothbrush and water to quickly brush out each receptacle, brush off the spike threads and leave it all to air dry. A bit of WD40 in the receptacles and pop the spikes back in. And you never have to deal with stuck spikes again. Ever.

Those are good spikes I use them myself what I dislike about the though is that when you walk on greens they leave a pretty big footprint and some people get on your case about it but good choice they last a long time

Those are good spikes I use them myself what I don't like about them though is that when you walk on the greens it leaves like a huge footprint on the green and some people get on your case about it
