Time to get a few of those jobs on the car done, couldn't believe how simple the headliner is to change. Never done one before, but 15 minutes and all done. Hope its useful.
Bravo, utilissimo, proprio stamattina ho messo in moto la mia SLK versione Evo del 2002, e salito al posto di guida qualcosa mi toccava sulla testa, alzo lo sguardo e vedo il rivestimento distaccato su tutto il tettino, mi è preso il panico. Il lavoro è un po scomodo ma abbastanza semplice, io volevo provare ad incollarlo, perchè se ne prendo uno usato avrà gli stessi anni di quello da sostituire, e prima o poi ricapita la stessa cosa anche su quello. Lo hai incollato poi il tuo? Hai fatto un video?
Salve, ne ho acquistato uno usato in buone condizioni. Può essere incollato, ma la spugna sul rivestimento della testata di solito si sbriciola, quindi non si ottiene una buona finitura. dovresti togliere completamente la tavola e rivestirla di nuovo. molto più lavoro, ma potrebbe essere fatto. buona fortuna e felice che il video sia stato utile.
There are two (like) shock absorber struts at the front of the roof which work the roof catches , and by the look of your old head lining either one or other has leaked!! Nice Video!
Thanks, I think it was stain from last owners head, was nothing on the rear of it, just oily mark on the cloth - where head would be. I’ll check the struts though 👍

Hi, I searched on ebay for people parting one out. Hopefully you will have the same there, then messaged until found one that had a headliner and that was in good condition. If not I used to buy older parts from Mercedes Germany (through the local Mercedes dealership) there's an "old timers" division that has older parts - back in 96 I was buying parts for the 71 coupe in my other video.
