205/70r16 yes, they are the stock rims off the SE. I got them at discount tire. Tge tech told me they would rub. But i maxed out the shocks and flex several times and never had it contact anything. They tell you itll rub for insurance reasons.
Have you had any issues with you EcoSport? I have a 2018 EcoSport SE 2.0 and I am experiencing sputtering when accelerating. I’ve changed the air filter, spark plugs and cleaned the mass air flow sensor and still no changes.
I have not had this issue. Unfortunately there are several things that can cause sputtering. Cracked head gasket, issues with valves, with timing, with computer modules. Im no master mechanic and without experiencing it in person, it is difficult to diagnose. Id recommend taking it to your local ford mechanic and see if they can diagnose it. If its an easy fix, do the work yourself, if you can.
@@unintendedpurposes yes, planning to take it to the dealership for diagnosing. I figured I would make sure I had the little stuff done first to rule basic stuff out. Thanks for the response thought.
@@maryevans8702 How is your EcoSport? Do you still have it? I had a bit of stuttering in reverse after a cold start (not warmed to operating temp yet) and switched to a 'top-tier' rated gasoline at 93 octane at first with the larger, white bottle of Lucas Total Fuel System Cleaner. It got better. After that, I stayed with top-tier 89 octane gasoline and kept using the Lucas a few more tank-fulls. Now I run the same 89 octane with a small bottle of cheap STP fuel injector cleaner in every tank. Problem solved. I hear that Chevron Techron is the best fuel injector cleaner with the most P.E.A detergent. The 2.0 EcoSport has a very high compression ratio, so it needs at least 89 octane imo. That, plus a higher detergent fuel (top-tier) like Shell V Power and Mobil gasoline. There is a list of top-tier gas stations. It started the stuttering at only 8,900 just after I acquired it. It now has 9,800 and runs great along with breaking the rules by using 5W-30 Super Tech synthetic motor oil instead of the water thin 5W-20.
Yes. The 2.0. It was the perfect car. A deer hit it on the freeway and totalled it. I got a bigger car to replace it. Im looking at getting another one for commuting to work.
@@unintendedpurposes thanks for the update, I bought my daughter a 2018 with the 2.9 titanium it's a great little car. Wished I had it to commute with .
