When I do an Oil change, at the first step I unscrew the bolt under the car and let the oil out, once it's barely dripping, I unscrew the cap in the Engine bay to relieve any pressure, some more Oil comes out *Surprise*. Then remove the filter. Clean up, put the Bolt back on underneath, screw in the new filter and the pour some fresh synthetic oil in.

Why not uncap the oil filter before going beneath?

By draining the oil first you get a good amount out of the oil filter, so when you go to take off the oil filter there won't be as much oil in it to splash around and make a mess.

is this ramp high enough to move around underneath? or you wish the ramp wash higher like 14" from the ground, I believe this ramps are 12" high

6:08 Where is your drain plug crush washer? You didn't mention anything about it or place one on when you reattached your drain plug. For DIYers who like to use a torque wrench, the correct tension for the drain plug is 29 ft-lbs.

once in a ramp, what is the proper way to park the car, Put the honda on 1st gear or hand/emergency brake..only...
