Sounds like you overfilled it.

why not? High Torque at low RPMs. Torque is turning force. A Trimmer spins a head with a string line on it, around. More of the power is efficiently used to turn the head/string. Why wouldn't a 4 stroke make sense? A 2 Stroke is lighter but it takes more RPMS to make the same torque leading to more vibration, more fuel expenses, and faster engine wear. High RPMS does not mean it can cut more. I feel the cutting power comes down to the torque, not the HP. I may be wrong but I am curious as to why a 4 stroke(low rpms, high torque) not make sense for a weed eater? New 4 strokes are powerful and light! some 4 strokes are lighter than the 2 strokes. A 25 cc 2 stroke is $330. A 25 cc 4 stroke is $340. Plus, no mixing fuel. Lower cost of fuel. I would appreciate any insight.

Jvapr27. Good points. I guess it's the simplicity of the 2/stroke. Less moving parts ETC. I am able to cut at 30-40% throttle. If I upgraded it would be cordless. Both cordless and 4/stroke have improved over the years. The switch to 4/stroke outboard and dirt bikes was not good the first few years. Have a good one 👍

drain all oil from machine and remove sparkplug, and airfilter, refill with proper oil capacity and new plug then test start it should be ok

@@ChrisUrsiny this might fix my issue as well actually.. but i had mine sitting vertically for a few months and tried starting it and it blew white smoke like well a train i guess. idk if the oil leaked into a air filter or something... idk engines very well any idea whats happening and maybe how to fix it edit also i put fresh oil in and after running for like 2 minutes i check the oil and its nearly straight black.

you want a good quality machine buy a stihl or husq. and dont look back, a lot of people in my area think cheap machines are good but they are wrong, cheap means you will have to fix/replace the machine quite a few times more in the lifetime of the machines usage.

picked up a used cub cadet ss418 same 29cc had to put a new air cleaner was warped and hard to start ok after the fix

i just use mobil 1 10w-30 ep oil only have to change 1 time in probably 2 yrs.

every year or 2x a year if used quite often. i recommend using mobil 1 for max performance.

I use mine everyday for 8 hours so I change every 6th months on a troy bilt
