The manual doesn’t required the oil to be 175 it requires the engine to be warmed to 175. There’s a difference. Look at your engine temp gauge in your touring mode cluster under performance for the engine temp. If you go off the oil temp your engine temp is prob around 200 degrees. You want that oil temp to be about 135 degrees when you check it. That performance cluster in touring mode will give you all that info 😉
Converted to PSI numbers that range is 26-29psi. Those numbers seem kinda low. I have the exact same year and model and mine runs between 34-40psi. I would probably have it looked at. These cars have malfunction indications all over the place though. If your oil pressure was low the car would tell you and you’d probably get a text on your phone too. Just saying
Here is the link to the wrench: amzn.to/3gEQ6zo It is the Uxcell CAP STYLE OIL FILTER SOCKET WRENCH 73MM 15 FLUTES. The wrench we used in the video is very old and can't get anymore, but the important thing is the 15 flutes and 73mm, and you are good to go with this wrench.
Very informative video. I have a question regarding the new oil filter. I know you have to prime the seal, but do you also have to fill the filter with oil?
@@carbuying You don’t have to, but why wouldn’t You. I do it on all vehicles that have vertical filters. The quicker the oil pressure comes up, the better.
