You didnt show us how did you pry it is it easy or not this is the main thing show people how it's done not cutting and trimming videos 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 And You can just clean it regrease it with cv joint grease and that's it, if it runs well and it should so you saved your bucks otherwise there replace it, there is no cut or grease splashed everywhere in your car 😁so it's good to do it and have oem than aftermarket , iam doing this in my altima since 2010 and everything is ok still have the main cv axle not replaced and will be doing this today in my maxima 2013
The boot on the axle can crack mines was are it make sounds are when you turning you can see noise that’s means it want change but noise can all so coming for anywhere u want make sure that the problem u have be4 change it are you make a mechanic check it that u trust
Make sure you have the special CVT fluid on hand. You'll need it. I used an air chisel with a hammer bit to get the flanged bearing out of the housing it was bolted to. If your doing this without air tools: Get an 18" long metal bar, 3/4" diameter. To separate the flanged bearing, go under the car and use a hammer with the bar to separate the two. A thin pry bar is also helpful to get it started. Once my axle came out, trans fluid came out of the trans. Covered me pretty good. I had to add back about a pint to refill.
@TommyMacDaddy1 🤣 No, I'm saying only use one jack stand on the axle side you're changing. That way, the trans fluid won't spill out. Most will lift the car up and level with jack stands. Just jack up one side at a time.
What exactly did you do to pry it out? I'm currently trying to remove the second part of the CV axle that goes to the transmission? For future videos, please show those critical parts so if you have to put the camera on a chair to show then do so. I'm waitimg on your reply. Thanks.
I got you but it you put the car in N it’s easy to come out my car is air out right now and it cold out but have the car N an pull on it and it come out easy
@@zeustv__3380 thanks man for replying but it's not easy to pry out. On the video you said you pry and pry and I see what you may have done. For me, I turned my 2010 Nissan Maxima on the "ON" position (push button start car) without starting the car and put the car in neutral and pull on the CV axle but it feels really tight like it has never been changed. Also, the piece of the CV axle that goes to the hub came out so I only have the piece of the CV axle that goes to the transmission.
