pre filter of a RO water purifier filters the particle which we can see with naked eyes like sand, dust, soil, rust etc. it is a good practice to change or clean the pre filter once in 6 month.

I think threaded cartridges are costlier than normal, why do you prefer threaded ones? Thank you for your excellent videos, doing by trial and error method sometimes results in breakage and you are helping everyone avoid that expense.
Thanks for your valuable comments. chance of leakage is very rare in threaded filter compare to simple one. outer plastic is very hard and it can't break by simple tapping by some hard object.

Pre Filter is added protection for your machine. Changing it doesn't change anything about your machine. This only extends the life of the sediment filter inside the machine. If the water tastes good. all is well.
Aapne jis company ka housing buy kiya uska link bhejyi q ki same kent mere pass bhi inlet elbow same hoga .q ki amazon pr bahut saara product hai pr mostly kent ke liye compatible nahi dikha raha hai.
mera pre filter ka housing kent ka hi hai. aap koi bhi housing le sakte hain sirf elbow size apne machine ke inlet elbow size se match kar lijiye (1/2 inch or 3/4 inch). pre filter ek extra protection hain suspended particle jaise sand, dust, mud particle ko filter karne ke liye. machine ke ander bhi sediment filter laga hai jo yahi kaam karta hai.
sir ,i am having kent pearl ro ..and also change my prefilter with this same aqua filter but it is float in side the prefilter catrage is not there any thread line on the top.so what can I do .? can u use this ?pl reply
there is two types of prefilter container available in market, one is threaded and other one is without thread. if your pre filter container is without thread, then use non threaded prefilter .
Sir, I have an important question. The water in our area is soft/sweet water. We have an RO Machine. Now considering these two facts, is it really necessary to have an external filter? Will not having the external filter damage my machine's internal filters BEFORE one year? Or will it last a year? I change the internal filters every year anyway. So if I don't spent extra on external filters now, and instead run the RO machine directly with brand new internal filters that I will change after one year, will it be a wise decision? The water in our area is soft and sweet.
What is the TDS of water in your area? Actually the external sediment filter gives extra protection to the machine from insoluble particles like sand, dust, iron rust etc. In my opinion use it because we don't know whether the water coming from tank or municipal supply is clean or not.
@@diyrepairs bhai ,, after 20 litre usage , my tds now 45 but wen technician setup was 130 !? Is there any fault in tds controller or y there's a difference ??
naya pre filter lagane ke baad jo pipe machine me ja raha us pipe ko machine se nikal kar do tin litre paani bahar gira den uske bad pipe ko machine me connect karen.
it depends on input water TDS and litre of water using per day. for example if you are using 10 litre of water per day and input water TDS is 300 then replace it within 6 months.

It depends on the TDS of the raw water. If TDS of raw water is more than 500 then change it in two to three months and if it is less than 500 then change it in 5 to 6 months.
pre filter ka life paani ke TDS pe nirbhar karta hai. agar pani jo filter me jaa raha hai uska TDS 300 ke karib hoga to 6 mahina me pre filter ko badlen. agar 100 se 150 hai to 1 sal me agar 500 ke karib hai to 3 mahina me badlen.
It is pre sediment filter and its price is around Rs 70 to Rs 250 depending on the place and quality. Check online or find a shop that sells RO spare parts in your area.
pre filter se jo pipe machine me gaya hai usme paani aa raha hai ki nahi check kariye. agar paani aa raha hai to motor ya booster pump se paani aa raha hai ki nahi check kariye.
nahi koi jaruri nahi hai. pre filter wahan lagaya jata hai jahan pani me dhool, mitti , baalu jaisi gandagi rahti hai. isko lagane se machine ke andar ka sediment filter ka life thoda badh jata hai.
spun filter ya mlt filter pani ke suspended particle matlab pani me maujood sand, dust, mud particle ko sirf filter karta hai agar apke pani me sand, dust, mud, iron particle etc kam hai to pressure aayega. jyada hone par pressure thoda kam ho jayega.
