I’ve been pushing my brake fluid backwards into the system on my own abs cars and my friends abs cars for over a decade and not failure yet,

Chris Bradley Same. Ive done brake jobs on toyotas and hindas with ABS and I've never had problems.

What you don't show is checking and lubricating the lower calliper slide pin. This is very prone to rust and seizure on the IS 250 and Toyota Mark X, and can be a pig to free up, due to the blind hole in the calliper. A pad and rotor replacement must always include a clean up and lube of the lower slide pin for proper operation, particularly on this calliper design.

Those two pins are moving easily on my car. Why is that. Should'nt that be secured?

🤔 isn't this guy a dealer mechanic? Um it looked a little bit dusty in there he didn't bother to clean it with brake cleaner and he installed the old hardware with no grease 👎

NEVER push brake fluid backwards into the system. With ABS systems it can possibly damage valving. Additionally pushing contaminated/dirty fluid back into the master cylinder may damage your master cylinder causing BIG, EXPENSIVE problems in any system.

Not at all, just as long as your fluid is not contaminated or dirty, you'll be just fine, there's not going to be any damaging of valves. - sincerely your Mercedes-Benz graduate and BMW technician
