Just finished both sides on the drive, job took just 1h 30m. I used the handle from my little trolley jack as a pry bar. Great video.

I used the jack to lift the hub and a hammer to tap the sway arm to line up the bolt.

Same for w245 on the rear no special tool needed to compress the springs? Nice one now water pump and starter please old serpentine belt too and we are set

@@autodocuk Is it possible to use a spring compressor to save having to remove the bolts on the lower suspension components ?

@laurejon Dude, it's 2 bolts. Much safer and just as easy as a spring compressor.

Hi, I got the new spring installed, easy enough thanks - but I cannot get the sway arm reattached - is there some trick to it I am missing?

Hi great tutorial! I used this to change the springs on a A180. I did encounter 1 issue! Everything went as in your video but when I did the other side no crowbar was needed to remove or install new spring! I just dropped down. Any idea why this happened? The car is now sitting higher on the side that dropped
