After taking out the old one and trying to put the new one in, the space between the 2 points is too short. The new part doesn't fit in there, nor does the old one as I tried to make sure the parts match in every way.
Thank you for your feedback! Probably, the reason is that the springs properties get worse, as the time goes by, and due to this they can sag a bit, you will see that by your car clearance or its roll. Best regards, Autodoc.
3:37 you omitted to put the tiny compression sleeve that came with the bolt kit. You left it on your tray right there in the corner. Little cylindrical piece.. İs there a reason why you didn't install the sleeve?
Thank you for your comment and your attention! Our mechanic made a small mistake, you should definitely install this sleeve back with a new lever. Best Regards, Autodoc team
@@urbanturbine I don't understand how to install the compression sleeve. Can't seem to find diagrams or information anywhere. Could you point me to a picture to explain your placement?
@@TheRvh70 when the control arm is not yet installed, put the sleeve in the hole on the wheel carrier side. Then line up the arm and put the bolt through. The bolt will go through it and you will tighten with the nut. New bolt is thinner. The sleeve fills the gap between thinner bolt and the hole on the wheel carrier.
