The sprockets are made of structured steel generally in 1045, with teeth cut to the flame. Any type of sprocket that is selected PICSA designs it to make an appropriate interaction between the chain and the teeth. It also selects the pressure angle, the background brightness and the background radius for optimum operation and maximum duration.
