Simple way to make sure you don't cross thread a screw is to turn it in the direction you would to remove it till you feel a small click (that's called the Higbey notch, ask a firefighter) then screw it in and it shouldn't cross thread.
Thanks for posting this video. Good to see how this is done. I have a SCAR but have not needed as of yet to change the gas screw shooting suppressed. Do you find the 10:00 valve setting GTG for shooting with many suppressors? I see a lot of internet chatter that FN voids the SCAR warranty is shot suppressed but FN told me that would only happen if the suppressor usage was the actual cause of damage.
