Great video but you must remember to check your oil level after you have started the car the first time as the oil filter will take about half litre or so of oil and may leave you slightly low. just a precaution.
I'm finding no tips online what so ever to answer my question. " How long should you let a car sit for once you've performed a oil filter and oil change ? " Can you use it straight away or does it need time to absorb in the filter, if so, how much time?
DIY oil changes allows you to use your choice of products and avoid the pitfalls of the shop rushing the technician to finish the job. Some shops pay minimum wage and expect an 'expert' to do the job in 10 min without cutting corners.
I might be aiming a little high, but I would appreciate videos about the karburator, ignitionadjustment, gearbox and clutch. Just an ambitious suggestion.
Always found it strange when oil is added straight from the container? I have always measured out into a 1 litre but and add the exact amount ? Surely it's easier ?
