How do we change the voice of the second language. I can select to use 2 language's for my Google assistant but I can only change the voice of one of the languages. The voice of the other language doesn't appear in the place where you change the voice 😕
You have to set the language to English (US) in order for the voice setting to appear in the menu. That being said, the voices are all really generic Caucasian voices and I would have appreciated voices with different natural accents like Indian, African, etc. That, or at least cartoon character voices.
This video is outdated by now, too. To change your assistant's voice, do this: - Open your Google Home (if it is not already installed on your phone, you can get it for free at the Play Store; if you only want to change your Assistant's voice there is no need to add a new device and do whatever else the app asks you to do; simply tap Cancel and you will be taken to the standard Google Home screen) - Tap your Account picture (at the top right corner of the screen) to access the Google Home main menu - Tap Assistant Settings - Tap the second tab, labeled Assistant - Tap Assistant Voice and choose your preferred voice The first two options of this menu should be Language and Assistant Voice. Keep in mind that *the availability of voices depends on your phone's language.* I have chosen English(UK), which only offers two voices, one female and one male. Other languages may offer only one voice or several. *English(US) will offer you all eight available voices.* Cheers from Germany.
I have a question... if I set the assistant voice to British racing green and my son wants voice red on his account, can it change voices depending on who's talking on their accounts separately ?
I only have two voices in my google assistant 😔.. please fix my issue😭... My device is oppo A5 2020, android version 10.. it happened when I updated my phone to android version 10... When I updated, only two voices were there...
I appreciate you tried, thank you but Google is one step ahead of you in changing stuff, I eventually found male or female voice but not the nine different ones you had mentioned.

Take a look at Edgar's comment at the top of the list. I was finally able to get mine figured out. My reply lists the steps. Basically, I had to set everything to English(United States) for it to work. Changed in assistant and in my phone's system settings.

Go to your phone's regular _Sound_ settings. The volume of the assistant's voice is the same as your phone's Master Volume. (Note that these things may change with new versions of Android or Google Home. To be on the safe side, simply test whether any of the different volume settings your phone offers has an effect on the volume of your assistant.)
