Yes you do- it's bolted to the front face of the pan, something like a 28mm nut.

aidan taylor To be honest with you if you have a 325i you should be good till around 300,000. I've seen e30s with that many miles and run perfectly fine. But at the same time I've seen other e30s that have less than 200,000miles and they're crap. It's luck, but most usually drive for many miles without big problems.
