In this video I show you how to change the transmission fluid on a 2G Toyota Prius. The type of fluid you want to use is: Toyota ATF WS (4qts) amzn.to/4cJfPUH
I guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Adrien Everett i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Thank you! This was easily the best video I have seen for the Prius! A lot don’t go into detail, you were thorough and you camera was locked in on the transmission!
Use a long neck funnel with the plastic attach. fits just right. Use brake cleaner for both plug cleans, save some time. I used Amsoil CVT Synthetic. after 130,000k no problems. Will change at 150k.
No it does not it just has a fill plug. Once fluid starts seeping from the hole it is filled and just put the plug back in. To check the level try to get the car on level ground and take out the fill plug. If oil starts seeping out level is fine. If it doesn't stick your finger in the hole dab it downward a bit and if you finger has oil on it the level is fine. If not you should add fluid.
