Your question is confusing. Be a bit clear please. Is it Wifi, battery light. If battery light is blinking red then battery is below 20%. I made a video explaining those light on the channel look for it it's labeled (4G Pocket Wifi Unboxing: Surprising Results)

The mifi is locked to airtel. So other networks won't work in it

Hello bro!!! A friend gifted me this Airtel pocket Wi-Fi, now I have been trying to reset it and after I long press the rest button and try to put in the Wi-Fi key, it still won’t connect!!! I have tried and tried.

Connect the mifi using a USB cable to a laptop or pc. You'll be able to connect to the Network. Then you can set up the Wi-Fi password that you want

How do I read the messages sent on it? The message icon has been blinking for 2 weeks now & it drains the battery 😡

Sorry about that. As I explained in the video. After going to 192.168.... tap SMS settings. Tap on the message that hasn't been read make sure it opens so that it gets unread.

Okay. First is your mifu unlocked? If not make sure you are making no mistake as you input the wifi key

It has to be correct. The only moment it's incorrect is if you unlocked the mifi. In that situation connect the mifi via a data cable to c computer then access the web page (it also changes 192.168.188.1) then login, and change the Wi-Fi key to whatever

When it's unlocked the wifi key and web address changes. Now to set it up. Connect it to a laptop via a USB. Then go to the browser type 192.168.188.1. Login admin, admin then change the username and password to what you want

Are you using a SIM card that is Rwanda based ?

Never been to Rwanda, but I'm thinking you may need a roaming bundle if your using a Ugandan line

@@PlugCentralUG am not using a ugandan line Am using a rwandan mango line , the mifi works with the mtn rwandan line but when i put mango it shows no internet yet it has unlimited internet

It must be an access point issue. If it's unlocked. Got to a browser type 192.168.188.1 then input password (admin) After that tap Device settings then on the side tap Apn settings Then tap Add New Under Profile name input "Mango" Then under APN input "internet4g.mango" Then tap save. When done to activate the new APN tap Above where you see "Select Profile" and choose Mango Hope that helps

At that point, if you changed them from the original passwords (admin, admin) your only option now maybe to reset the router

Please watch the video again. I explain how to do it at the beginning of the video. But anyway when you open the back of the mifi you'll see a small hole with reset next to it. Find something small or sharp then press the button inside that hole while the mifi is on for some seconds, till the lights go off then on. It will be done resetting

What never worked? If you're talking about wifi key. You must have unlocked your device so it changed key. Connect via USB then change Wi-Fi password

Sorry about that. Try restarting the mifi. If it doesn't solve the problem reset the mifi and set it up afresh. To reset press the reset button at the back of the router

Go to the router settings after putting the address 192.168.1.1 in the browser. Go to device settings. Then on the left tap ussd. Now you can type the code. *131# or *175*4# that's in Uganda to see the data balance

Sorry about that. Maybe you're not pressing that button well. Get something small or sharp that fits inside the reset hole

Or if that failed totally. Go to the browser, login to the mifi, go to system settings, then tap "Restore default settings"

The wifi key should work that is at the back of the mifi. Unless if the mifi is unlocked? Is it unlocked? If so connect it via USB to a laptop then connect to a browser and change the password there
