You can use NPC models, you just have to set the bone that it's attached to is set to "none" and turn on bone merging. It's a bit inaccurate with looking like it's gripping stuff but it's the best result you'll get.
Ok so I love the guide but for some reason I don’t have hide entity. I pressed the button to pull up where you select player models and clicked pac editor but I think that was wrong… or if not what am I doing wrong then cause I don’t have a hide entity
this vids a bit outdated but i had this problem too, when you add your playermodel under 'entity' go to the options and under 'appearance' click the box for 'no draw' and that should work

i wanted to do this so i could use an npc's model as my playermodel and it's just stuck tposing. i dont get what the point of even doing this is if you can only user playermodels as the model since you could just make those your playermodel normally without even using pac3?
i dont know if you still read these comments but my player model is invisible and I have pressed every setting on there to try and change it and nothing has happened to make the model visible again
I've got a player model for Goku black and it has variants, SSJ1-3 and Rosé but I can't change him to rosé, it's just Goku In his base form. Any idea how I'd change the variant of him?
thats pretty helpful, for instance, there have been times where a ragdoll (for some reason) was not an npc nor player model, by using this, i will be able to over come those issues thank you

hold Q, where it says tools scroll to the right, go to utilities, find PAC3, and change something like the view range or something like that to the max.
