my grandson left his board on and the battery drained and will no longer charge. when i plug it into the charger the light on the board lights for like 1/2 second then nothing. any suggestions?

Hey, when plugged in, the number of red lights tells you how charged it is.... When unplugged and you turn on the power, you should see the green light telling you it's on, and a red light that is not flashing. If the red light is flashing, that means you're not paired. To pair, turn everything off, then press and hold the skateboard power button for 5 seconds and you'll see it flashing fast. leave it flashing then press and hold the remote power button for about 3-5 seconds until the red light starts flashing fast. Then you'll be paired. For me it usually takes about an hour to fully charge the remote, but I try to keep it fairly charged when not in use.
