I purchased one of these brake fluid testers on Amazon two weeks ago and returned it. It was FAR from accurate. In fact, it gave different readings in the same brake fluid, minutes apart. When I tested NEW SEALED container brake fluid, it indicated it needed to be replaced. Just change your brake fluid every 3-5 years and you will be fine!
Thanks for sharing. That’s a bummer it seemed to be inaccurate. I’ve used these through the years and found them to be relatively accurate. all the really testing for is moisture/water in the brake fluid. I’m wondering if something was wrong with the one you had?
