I reccomend removing the plastic wrap prior to installing the filter.

Following up on your video (Aug 2023) for the Samsung Freezer issue...wondering if the diverter (black solenoid like device) did indeed fix your problem? I like many have the same problem. Thanks for that video and all that you've posted. Greatly appreciated.

Good question, shortly after making the video about the Samsung refrigerator, it had more issues that seemed to stem from the motherboard. I ended up selling it and moving onto to a Maytag I purchased from Costco. Great looking refrigerator with good reviews on sale for 1000 bucks. Didn’t seem like it made sense to mess around with the Samsung anymore. Hope this helps!

Good question, electrostatic filters are pre-charged. No batteries, not plugged in etc.. They are a GameChanger.👍😎

@@checkitout2468 over the last year or so the air just wasn’t cooling like it was. I cleaned outside unit and inside evaporator coil. Friend came over and checked the system and said I need a recharge. He charged it and now it’s ice cold. 25 degree difference from return to register. System is about 18 years old. I’ve never had it serviced in the 10 years I’ve owned the house. Only thing I’ve done is changed the filter regularly.

@@jason82180 hey, that’s great news! For the most part, the systems are closed unit. There is a Schrader valve with a rubber that can deteriorate overtime. I would guess that the system being 18 years old that Schrader valve is likely where you have a very, very small leak. The compressors also have a very tiny amount of refrigerant, intentionally leaking into the moving parts for lubrication reasons. It’s a very small amount but again over 18 years could simply need a “recharge“ I’m glad it’s up and going for you. A 25° difference in temperature is excellent.

@@jason82180 The Schrader valves are where the copper lines meat air conditioner. These valves are used for technician to hook up their gauges to add Freon, etc. My advice is to not mess with them unless you know what you’re doing. However, they do have brass caps on them that can be tightened to possibly help any kind of a leak. If I were you, I’d see how long your air conditioner stays cold for. Maybe it’s good to go for a long time or if next summer, you’re having the same problem have the technicians look at the Schrader valves.

I’m wondering if you’re thinking about electronic air filters. There are electronic systems that use power. However, the electrostatic filters come pre-charged from the factory. There are no batteries, they are not plugged in, etc. These filters work great. And if you buy them once use them properly, they will last the lifetime of the system. I was in the HVAC profession for many years… click on the link in the description, read the description of the product and check out the reviews. These are not a scam.

@@checkitout2468a true electrostatic filter needs constant electricity. You can’t just transfer electricity from a factory to your home with no batteries. That’s not how electricity works. I call BS. I come across these filters every single day… they don’t do anything other than waste your money, dirty up your system, and have you convinced you’re actually filtering better when you’re doing nothing more than using a one inch filter 😂
