hi, I have just checked the value of soot and it shows 48 g. Do I need to do a force regeneration while driving since the max value of soot is 60 g?

I tried a regen with the same tool on a 1.4tdi 2008 but it didn't want to start it. The soot content is 69grams(out of 50maximum) but the dpf load is 14%. Any idea?

Why is this info not on the car media system . It would help the driver if he new the soot levels so they could manage the car driving better .

Hello i have try to do check soot level same as you did but that option it is not show.I have not that option to check soot level.I have tried even with a latest version of delphi software.What to do please?

I just bought this for dpf regen and although it reduces soot levels to about 1-2 grams, it then shows about 33grams when I try the "check soot level" option (incidentally shows full as 60grams limit). I tried this on 2 cars and both show same although in another option screen (where you have a list of about 160 odd readings/screens) one of the readings does however show the correct 1-2 grams. Why is this and should it not show 1-2 grams instead of 33grams? It is as if 33grams is still there when clearly i counted down to 1-2 grams. I have to add I did regen without it requiring it just to test and the dpf light comes on during regen but goes off when complete.
