In this video we show you how to check the genuine mileage on a Honda vehicle. In most cases, if a mileage has been changed by a criminal, it will have only been changed in the instrument cluster. But in newer vehicles (we generally find from 2013/14/15 onwards) the ECU also stored the mileage information.

So, if the tool shows a different mileage to the cluster, then there is a potential issue with the mileage verification, and you should seek an answer from the person you bought or are buying the Honda from.
