Depending on where you are in your cycle, the position and feel of your cervix will vary. These changes are due to hormonal fluctuations during the different phases of your cycle. By identifying these changes (soft/hard, open/closed, low/high) in your cervix you can then identify when you are ovulating. This video will give you detailed instructions!

How long does the cervix stay high because mine has being high for5 days and still not changing

Mine doesn't change its always hard and lower throughout the months where I'm about to menstruate or not.. Is it normal? And it's been 4 months without any cervical mucus

Hi it is really very informative video. During ovulation time is cervix in opening position ? And during ovulation time what is the average length of cervix from vagina starting ?

What about women that have had children? A woman that has had a child or children, their cervix will not be a hole in the middle. It will be a slit so basically feel like a straight line and when ovulation it will in the middle still feel Open. Also a lot of the time women with kids the cervix never will fully close all the way it may always before ovulation or in the fertile window feel a tiny bit open.

No hon you’re cervix when pregnant goes up very high. Sometimes it’s so high it feels hard to reach. If you get implantation bleeding it still will stay high up. I’ve suffered infertility problems for almost 8 years And have had to go through many treatments. I also know fertility inside out and am a r Registered nurse for over 14 years. I am An er nurse. I also was for a year a Labour and delivery nurse.

It never feels soft to me but it will have clear slippery mucus and it’s open. So idk lol.

It's no longer complicated. Once the vagina has less cervical mucus and the environment is more acidic the sperm less likely reaches the uterus resulting in no pregnancy. There it is! Plain. That's why it's difficult for older women to conceive.
