Makes you wonder how well the service was done, worth checking when its bad outside and you have to stay in the van especially in the places awkward to get to and out of sight.
Only if there is significant damp! Don't forget a damp meter is a dealers best and worst enemy. There is nothing worse than finding damp in your own stock and having to pay potentially thousands to repair.
Let's say you had damp at 50%.. and it got missed on a check, how long would you say before major problems - or is a few months at 50% long enough to sponge wood?
If it’s at 50% and has been missed, it probably is going to continue to leak if it hasn’t been resealed at least so logic says it could worsen. It’s amazing how often damp is missed, or sometimes “hidden” because it’s the selling dealer that is retesting it.
I think there is some mixed messages re aluminium. There is far more to Bailey construction than the outer shell, my Lunar is also aluminium. Why suggest that testing the inside wall is useless if the outer shell is aluminium. No suggestion if the cheaper unit is any good for home use. Sorry. just too much wrong with this.
Maybe a dog trained to detect damp might be a solution that makes sense and worth its weight in Gold to a dealer despite the cost of training and feeding which might be tax deductible ! I do come up with some funny ideas looooooool
Sorry you only showed 99% example which would not test compare the cheapest of meters. Showing a checks at 15,-20% on different background materialswould have been a lot more convincing. If you paid out all that money for occasional use you are going to favour that one!.
You only spoke of the comparison measurements. You never showed them to the camera as proof, like all the other videos people do. For all we know you could be getting paid by protometer to make this. So I'm not convinced to take your word for it.... Sorry
