Hey, I am doing my bachelor's in economics from du and let me tell you that you that economics is way different from what you study in 10th or even in 12th , it basically comprises of high level maths and stats which can make you feel am I really studying economics as the core conceptual economics is just 20-25% which act as base for rest of the maths and stats , but that's what makes it special, crunching numbers , proving theorems , using maths and algebra to prove economic principles ( I just completed 1st year so that is what we are taught till now) . But bachlor alone is not enough as the amount of knowledge this subject carry can not be taught to students in just 3 years so if you further want to go into research than you have to do masters as well . But if you want to switch into finance than I will suggest to go with bcom (h) , even though there is lot of account and law at the start but eventually you will gain precious knowledge making you eligible for almost any finance related job profile , even though you can switch from economics into finance as well. I hope this will be helpful... It is really rare to see a student of 10 th class to be interested in economics, and as a economics student it eventually became my duty to provide you info regarding the same , all the best for your future endeavours 😊

@@IamTej10thgrade I think DSE can be a good option that if you want to do it from India , but like I have a senior who passed out like 3 years ago , so what he did was for 3 year he took experience in research and analytics industry cracked a foreign University entrance with scholarship ( basically some countries are there which pays you to study in their country , one of them was Germany) and eventually he will be pursuing his master . But if you want to do it in India than I think best options will be DSE, and ISI Kolkata ( for QE) .
