My suggestions who suffered, still suffering from back pain for 10yrs........ 1) Buying a costly comfortable chair with great ergonomics is an investment. Sitting job people will end up spending lakhs if not sitting in a neutral position(my experience). 2) choose a chair when neck, upper, middle, lower back, glutes, thighs, hands feel least pressure while sitting. 3) Even if you buy a great chair, stretching body for 30 mins, breaks in between work is must. Believe me it all starts with less pain.

I'm also planning to buy and searching now, even if we are spending too much for a chair is not a solution to avoid back pain and the important factor is to consider the actual design and other material properties , Also need a proper break time and physical exercise for those who are doing Sitting job more than 9hrs.

Brother, you are so intelligent! I have spent close to Rs.28k for my chair as I have back pain and the chair is Featherlite Helix. Except the neck support, everything is good in this chair. Metal Base or Fibre base do not make much difference as long a it is built with good quality. And, width of the base is what decides if the chair is stable or not and not the curve of the base etc.

Bro. Don't buy Memory Foam seat chair. Although it maintains the seat shape, you can't sit on it for long time. The reason is it will give you heat boils if you are sitting for a prolonged time on a memory foam seat. It is because the memory foam has the nature of getting hot after a certain amount of use. I will not suggest this product I bought this chair last week there was some drawback seat back screw fell down multiple times and screw thread was plastic careful with tighting the screw.
