why are you creating a Recipe from DATASET? to compare dataflow and recipes is to create a recipe from raw objects and show how to join the objects as complicated as you showed in the dataflow 1st half of the video. the 1st part of the video looked very complicated. I think the recipe section you should had joined the opportunity object with the account and other objects show the pros and cons between the dataset builder and recipe for a fair comparecence between the 2, but i do agree with you recipes are better...
I agree recipe is better to some extent but transformations like compute expression and compe relative are very much useful in business scenarios and that is not possible in recipe.
