These are tips on how to choose frames for asian faces and which glasses look good and fit well on an asian/small nose.
I have always had trouble finding glasses that fit me because of my small nose and large cheeks. I go over what to look out for when choosing frames for an asian face and how to pick glasses for an asian/flatter nose.
Asian faces typically have a shallow nose bridge, larger cheekbones, and larger head sizes. These features make it very difficult to find glasses that fit correctly, stay on, and look good.
Here are some of my tips in finding glasses that look good and fit well on most asians.

I’m also Korean American, with a face shape is similar to yours (wider cheeks, diamond shaped). I always knew I needed a specific type of fit-but you laid it out in terms that actually make sense! Thank you!

I put on a pair of Ferragamo Asian fit frames and they are like magic. I thought all Ferragamo frames had this nose piece -- but no! How did I go my whole glasses wearing life and not know about this?!?! Especially since I wear prescription sunglasses, and they are SOOOOOOOOO heavy and slide down and hit my cheeks. Oooo! I’ll have to check out the Ferragamo Asian fit ones! Totally agree with you on how amazing it is to have some lift on the nose pieces. Makes a world of difference. I have a high prescription too so had a tough time with glasses sliding down also. Thank you for sharing your story. It’s nice to know we are not alone in our glasses struggles 😁

Thank you for this video! My face is wider than normal that even men's glasses that have the temple part adjusted to be wider squeezes and makes dents on the sides of my head. Good to know there are custom options!

You're so welcome! I need a wider frame size too. I found that sunglasses frames tend to be larger so sometimes I would make sunglasses into clear daily use glasses.

Thank you for this video . I have almost my whole life avoided wearing sunglasses. I didnt know what was wrong with me . I couldn't find a pair that would fit correctly. There should be more info about the subject. Thank you so much .

Hi Danny, I totally know where you're coming from. I had always thought there was something wrong with my face, not that there was something wrong with the frames. I completely agree with you that there should be more information on how to find glasses/sunglasses for specific facial features. They have glasses now with “low-bridge fit” descriptions, which are meant for Asians. It has larger nose padding/frame, the angle of the frames relative to the temples/arms are less angular, and the temples/arms themselves have a different curve in which they bend around head of the person wearing the glasses. All this makes it so that it helps the glasses to not fall down your face and touch your cheekbones.

I am also not Caucasian and I also have a lot of problems because my face like most jewush/arab faces has more depth than a regular Caucasian one. Thank you so much for bringing out the subject.

I’m asian. I got small nose and my nose bridge is curved inward the face. It’s impossible for me to wear sunglasses.

My nose gives me issues too. I have a flat bridge and a dent on one side so I would need my nose pads adjusted one higher than the other every time. Topology might be a great option for you. I’ll be making a video on it soon 😊

Hi. I find your video very good because nowadays everything seems to be standard and only for Caucasian people. There is nothing that is specially thought for African, Jewish, Arab, Persian or all of the ethnicities in Asia and I think it is high time we speak up and priest against Caucasian "imperialism".

I totally agree that we need more diverse representation, especially when it comes to eyewear. Faces are beautifully unique but why are glasses mass produced and built for one type of face? 🤔

It sends us the message, that our faces are not right as long as they are not Caucasian. So, yes! It is high time we reject that, by buying only from those companies who acknowledge ethical variety. 👍

Not all Asians have small noses. In fact, a lot of Asians have big wide noses (Xi Jinping) and some have big tall noses (Chiaki Kuriyama).

Very true! Both types of noses which can also be hard to fit regarding glasses too. The general consensus is there has to be wayy more diversity in the frame choices available to us on the mainstream eyewear market.

The issue here is the bridge of the nose that infers how the glasses sit. I'm white with a low nose bridge and wide face. The fact that my nose is wider, bulbous on the tip makes no difference in functionality (sliding down, hitting my cheeks, getting oily from my lashes).
