And then when they replied to you it was a bitly link. I don't like it. It's frustrating. I would've been so easy to throw up some graphics but with the way they bring in new models and stop supporting the old, they can't make "evergreen" content. Whelp, this is evergreen and pretty unhelpful.
Thanks for the video… howeverI am still not sure which model would be best for my purposes. I am a mixed media artist that would like to create my own reusable stencils… lots of them! I design them on my art program (can save them in any format) and would like to have a machine do the cutting instead of me hand-cutting them. I don’t need it for any other purpose. Thank you for your help… and your vids! ❤😊
@@BrotherCraftsUSA Sorry, but this link is useless--it seems to funnel you to a VERY limited option of pre-selected machines without ever asking a single question about what I want to use it for--excuse me, it gives 2 options...embroidery....or not embroidery. That's it. Waste of time!
Hi Julie, You are so right, picking a machine is not super easy. I went the cheapest route I could to find out if I thought it was a machine for me. 2 Yrs ago I bought an SDX85S and though I don't use it as much and as often as I should.... I find that the smaller screen has become an issue. So I found someone that had a brand new SDX125 in box that she got for a gift and doesn't craft for a really great price. So now I have 2 machines. For the infrequency that I use the DX85, I don't think I could sell it very easily. So I have decided to keep it... it will be great for when I need to cut more than one sheet of something. So this leads me to my question I hooked up both wireless but when I am looking to send it to a machine, I don't see where you can choose which machine to send it to. On an alternate question. I have never sent anything wireless on these machines, do they save it automatically to my internal memory? Or is wireless only for send and cut right then? TIA for any help.
Hi Judi! Here is a link on how to wirelessly transfer a design to the machine: bit.ly/3Twex8O. Should you still have any trouble resolving your connectivity and navigational needs, you can contact our Customer Support team here: bit.ly/3B5PJLU for further assistance. ~pw
Hi Judi, here is some additional information. In CanvasWorkspace, you are only able to send to one machine at a time. If wanting to change machines that you are transferring to, you would need to enter the appropriate pin code for that machine provided in CanvasWorkspace. The other option would to have more than one CanvasWorkspace account. Please see the link below for more information: help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/161093
@@BrotherCraftsUSAI did all that for both machines on the same canvas workspace. I thought you could register both machines on the same canvas workspace and you just select which machine you want to send to. That is ridiculous to have numerous canvas workspace accts. Guess it was useless to buy more than one machine. What a waste.
Hi Julie, I’m enjoying your videos and just subscribed to your channel. I’m a card maker and would love a Scan n Cut machine so I can eliminate buying expensive dies. The more affordable SDX85 would do just fine but maybe overtime I may wish I got a model with a larger screen? Is the next model up a SDX125? I currently own an older Cricut machine but don’t want to upgrade to another Cricut since the Scan n Cut will do what I want most and is more straight-forward to use. Thanks.

What I need to know is the enhanced tracing , we can no longer get the activation cards so how do we do advanced tracing ? Do the new machines come with that feature for the workspace ? No one seems to be able to answer this for me I hope you can help

Hi! I am new to the world of Scan n Cut, but am very interested in purchasing one. Not sure about the size of the SDX85 model, but mainly want to know if that model has PES readability? Thank you!
Thank you so much for responding! The screen is small, but I think it might be the model I need to start with. Quilting and appliqué is my focus now, not necessarily paper crafting. Have another cutting machine for that. Thanks again.

I am very interesting in one of the ScanNCut machines. Am trying to figure out which one to order. One thing that concerns me is hearing about so many issues with the sticky mat. Can you help me learn more about the mats? Thank you!
Hello, Deanette! We'd love to share more information with you. Like any job, it's important to use the right tool, therefore we have different mats for different materials like fabric. You can learn more from our FAQs here: bit.ly/2J4VnoT. ~ms
@@BrotherCraftsUSA In trying to learn more about the features of the different machines I have watched many you-tube videos. I love to make cards but so many stamp sets with the company I purchase from need to be hand cut out. Sadly due to health reasons, I can not see well enough to do that. I'm looking for a machine that I can stamp my images, then scan and cut them out. Maybe you could point me in the right direction for which of the Brothers ScanNCut machines would be helpful for my needs. The issue with the mats that I keep hearing is that they don't stay sticky and then they keep slipping as they feed into the machine. That concerns me. Can you help me with that?
Deanette, any of the current ScanNCut machines will cut stamped images. Regarding our mats, if they are cleaned and stored properly after each use, they should remain sticky for a long time! ~ms
We apologize for any inconvenience. If your image is cutting more than once, there may be double lines on the image you created within CanvasWorkspace. We would love to help correct this. Please contact Brother Customer Service at: www.brother-usa.com/support
