Not until cedar as find the smell of mothballs make me sick to my stomach. Not going without protection as a lot of my wool is vintage. Hope this helps.
Hello Kirby … how do you recommend to hang a three piece, regarding the waistcoat? Just under the jacket or would you recommend a second hanger? Reasons?
These look perfect for a leather jacket I've had hanging on a grossly undersized hanger for far too long. Since the shoulder to shoulder distance is 19.5" I can't decide if I should get the 20" or if the 81.5" is sufficient.
The sizing information on the website contradicts what is said on this video. From the website "15.5" Small Wooden Suit Hangers: Chest sizes 40 and below"
So, I wear a 48L-50L suit jacket and would go for the XL hanger in your hanger line. My question is would I get an equivalent in a dress shirt and go for the XL hanger? P.S. I wear a dress shirt with an 18 inch neck collar with a 36/37 sleeve length.
Do not think you should say honestly: - you come true as very honest. When you say that it is like you are not allways honest. Witch I think you realy mostly are.
I have a size small hanger, the width of the hanger is perfect to my jacket, but the neck of the hanger is too narrow, so the collar and the lapels fall forward, and the whole jacket droops into a trapezoid shape...
I was just given a VERY high quality lambskin leather jacket for christmas and from what I read they say to hang it on a padded hanger to protect the delicate leather. Is that true? Or would a suit hanger from you be good for this coat? I was also given a suede and sheerling car coat. Would a suit hanger work for that coat? These are both WAY nicer then I can afford to replace so I would like to keep them protected. any advice is welcome.
In our experience, the best way is to go off of what your RTW chest size would be. When you measure the jacket, it always seems to overstate the size of hanger required.
I've found shoulder width and size to be separate. I'm 6 1 200 lbs but have wide shoulders. For off the shelf is an XL, also are my arms are long. But I measure more of a Large but nothing in large fits! Bespoke is fine for your once in a lifetime suit but for everyday wear it's frustrating...
hi Kirby. I want to purchase a hanger from you because I just tried a hanger off amazon and even though it supports the shoulder area well, the trap on the upper back area looks sunken in... this is an indication of a bad hanger, right?
