hi mam. I am using a medela pump 8 times a day. I pump and feed my baby. can you please tell me how to wash the pump and membrane. am using 8 times. do i need sterilize with boiling water every time or once in a day . within 2 weeks suction power of the pump is decreasing. so can i need to change the flange or membrane mam. how long do i need to change these thing?. does everytime sterilize membrane , flange with boiling water safe or damage it?.
You have to wash the pumping parts which has direct contact with the milk. Wash them in a warm soapy water and running water. Sterilize it only once in a day. If you’re using boing water method to sterilize then just allow to boil only for 2 min then quickly remove the parts and dry it upside down on a paper towel.
Mam I have one doubt,once if we collect milk from pump and we used the milk ....For the second time within 2 to 3 hours,if I again want to pump n keep the milk ready ,whether i have to sterile n clean the bottle or we can pump n store it???
My baby is on formula feed. She has difficulty in latching. It's been 3 months now, I try to breastfeed, but she doesn't try to feed as the flow is not like bottle, she cries a lot. Nowadays I don't have milk even I express. I want to breastfeed her. Is it possible after 3 months?

If you want to introduce a bottle offer after a month, follow pace feeding technique (refer my shorts - bottle to breast). It’s a very slow process . Get professional help.
