Arda wigs is a godsend for cosplayers! I always order form them now and no one else can compare. I just brought your book too so I hope it will be enough to help guide a newbie to extreme wig styling. XD Wish me luck.
I searched this to try and find any reviews for Kyle as it was recommended to me by Arda for the character, but I'm going to ask you as well!! I'm wanting to do beast boy from the latest of young justice, and they have him having an undercut now, any wigs I've gotten from Arda are Hansel and Marty, was thinking to get a Hansel but Arda suggested Kyle for an undercut, what do you think?
Do you have any recs for Arda wigs that would do well for a middle parting? I know a skin top is advised, but I found that the website isn't always clear in how big those are if they appear in a certain wig style or where they are situated.
Another thing to remember with base wigs is if it has a skin coin, skin front or is fully Weffted wig, since that's has alot to say to with styles is easier to do
ooohhh was the Jess wig double thick? i swear the long top of that wig was thicker than any full wig i had 😅 (mine is from right when they first started selling them, idk if they changed them since then since i know a ton of people were talking about how wildly thick it was. i got a second one maybe half a year later and noticed they added combs which was good lol)
The Jess wig was definitely much thicker than normal, although I don't think it was billed like that!! I adore the Kyle, but the Jess is constructed in a bit of a different way, my guess is in order to keep the long hair thick even though it's only rooted into a smaller portion of the wig. I like the idea in theory, but the problem my friend had was that the hair was then too thick and heavy to train in a different direction. I'm not sure what's different about the new version, but I'm curious to hear what you think!
@@CowbuttCrunchies oh i don't know if there is a new version? my second "newer" Jess is probably like 3 years old at this point, just a few months younger than my original. just as thick, but it came with combs sewn in unlike my first one my method was probably wrong on multiple levels, but i basically took thinning shears to the whole thing. like, weft by weft, cutting right at the root for the entire top long section. i dyed it and so had to completely restyle it from scratch anyway, but i had never messed with wefts before so the thinning shears seemed easier. it worked great in the end though! the curls could actually stay floofy and curly instead of getting weighed down, and my ear stopped getting sore from trying to wear long elf ears under all that lol.
