I'd love to see a video of how you fish in the different seasons. Summer like how you plan your day? Do you start shallow cranking and topwater first thing in the morning and then move out to deep drop off shoals when the sun is full?
Excellent video! Appreciate the time and effort you and Brody put into making these. One idea that I have for a video is too talk about finding sneak holes. You talk about sneak holes quite a bit. Another one could be about practicing and breaking down a lake before you hit the water. Map reading graph weeding prep stuff. Keep up the great work guys!
Theres no science to back what I am about to say, but I was told years ago by older fellas that had far more years of bass fishing experience that early in the year (pre spawn) that bass that are just moving up from the winter depths do not see very well. They used to claim that red colors are what the bass can see the best in that particular time. There could be something to that, but who knows. The fact is that reds do work early in the year.
I am a BIG fan of yours. I am struggling with catching smallies on St Lawrence. Could you please share the lures you use while drop shotting. Many thanks
If you watch DC he uses a ton of hair jugs and catches tons of smallmouth. I would recommend using that and see how it works and if not use a bright pink drop shot worm like Wheeler was using to catch all of his smallmouth.
i feel like wheeler is always cagey about what baits he actually uses. Like you know hes got a couple boxes of lures that he doesnt let anyone see but he uses in tournaments. GIVE UP THE JUICE JACOB!
@@WheelerFishing hope you bring home that AOY! There's levels to everything, and when it comes to bass you're on a different level than anyone else right now. And even more important, you seem like a damn good guy. Good luck man!
I live by a lake that has Big cliff edge rock bluff walls. Could you help me understand which ones hold fish and why. Boone Lake in Northeast Tennessee.
Love you videos congrats on your win in the team series I'm a big crankbait fisherman so I love watching you cranking videos so keep up the great work a dream of mine is to fish with you thanks again
Hey Jacob I’ve been a huge fan of yours for a long time. I could use your help on something it’s when and what type of plastic to throw and should it be deep or shallow and how to tie a drop shot on. Or Texas rig stuff like that so if u could help that would mean a lot ty very much and good luck.
When I was I grade school a girl In my class caught a lake record walleye on a worm. So I always remember there’s a bit of luck with fishing and miracles can happen.
Can you do a video on how you set up your graphs? And then in a separate video, maybe go out and graph a little bit and explain what you're seeing on the graph and how to position the boat to what you're seeing? Thanks for all your content, you're the man!
Love to see a video of a Day in a Life! Kind of what you do outside of tournaments, think it would be a good idea to see what everyday is like for you guys.
Awesome bass fishing I love going with my dad cause I am only 14 so I can’t drive yet but bass fishing is the best and I love this video one of your best yet I have a channel too I work hard on it so I know all the hard work you put into these and everyone appreciates your hard work keep fishing 🎣
I think the biggest thing that I would need help with, would be reading fish on a graph. I float tube alot. And on my tube, I carry a Piranha Max fish finder. I believe it's a down scan. I have a difficult time reading if what I see is fish or bait or what it is. 🤦🏼♂️😆 Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Rapala dt series is 🔥🔥🔥 on my home pond in may n June when they first move up on Lil special places. By far the best application for catching Biggs and numbers of Biggs. But it’s been my experience color didn’t really matter as much because I’m burning that bait so fast and killing it off the bottom I really don’t see how they have time to even see it. Lol. The DT series is the XD killer!! By far the best on the market. I’ve tried them all
I got this really cool strike pro swim bait. It’s like a baby bass segmented one. I would love to send it to you to try and catch up with one then sign it and send it back. Would be the coolest thing
