Feel free to leave any questions you might have, I'll try my best to answer all of them. 😀 If you are a veteran, feel free to share tips or roast me in the comments. You decide. ❤ - Kasper

No roasting, well done... My tip is to choose frame lenght (wheel size) according to foot lenght +-1 cm gives the most natural skate experience 😊 And, always go for a skate with adjustable frame, it helps learning curve a lot if you don't have to deal with pronation or supination to learn the basics... Once you've built the muscles and learned to control your edges you will most likely end up with a centered frame again. I can highly recommend Trinity to beginners, it is almost like a little "platform" instead of a "rope" to balance on 💯👍🏻

What about a small-wheel, low profile-boot just for indoor roller rink skating? Is there a jam inline skate?

I personally wanna learn how to skate (27yrs old). I have not skated in over 13 years. I have size 15 shoe size and that already trumps my decisions on a hard or soft boot. especially one with a removable liner. The only Skates i have found that would remotely come close to fitting me would be Rollerblade RB XL's. IF there are any other options i would love to have any suggestions or advise. My goal is to be able to go to small skateparks and mainly ride and glide throughout my Town. :) i loved this video and the way you put it together. a hardboot sounds more my speed but i will let you decide XD hahaha. for more info., i dont plan on doing flips or crazy twists, i may tend to try a small grind on a rail and going down ramps as well as jump stairs. any feedback would help. especially if you know what the RB XL's are like. i solute you as well lol (made it through the whole video).

Hi! Sounds awesome that you want to get back into inline skating! 😀 As it happens I do have some tips for you. coming from someone who wears a size 13 I might actually be able to help you with the shoesize. I think hardboots would be the best option from what you describe. If you are going to do jumps and so on, a soft boot might not be able to keep up in the long run. In terms of size, I can help you out abit. I'm a size 13 myself, and when I initially started skating 6 years ago I bought a pair of Next Arctic Gray 110 in size (EU 48-49) Initially they felt good, seemed like they were the right size. How ever once I had broken them in, the fit just became looser, and looser and I had to downsize to a (46-47) Which is smaller than my regular shoesize. My toes were initially a little curled, but after having broken them in, the fit was perfect. I think you go for a size (48-49) They might feel really tight in the beginning (It took me like 10-15 minutes just to get into my skates the first couple of times, which was like half of my lunch break), But over time it will get a lot better. What you can do with most of our liners is Heatmold them (at least you can with Powerslide liners since they are designed for it), that will go a long way towards telling you whether or it's the right size. It doesn't void the warrenty or your ability to return them. So if you do it and the skates still don't feel like they fit, you can still return them. I would for sure go for a hardboot, depending on your foot the Next and Zoom Pro (They come with trinity) are really good options. Thanks for the kind words, I hope this was useful. - Kasper

So, basically if you are a beginner you can pretty much get any depending on what you want or prefer? I'm more confused now😕

If you have weak ankles get a hard boot. If you plan on skating on rough surfaces then consider getting a skate with 100mm wheels. If you are interested in upgrading your skates at some point, get a skate with the ability to change frames, the most common frame mounts being trinity, ufs, and 165mm. But the most important tip is to make sure they fit - as small a size as possible without pain. They shouldn’t feel like roomy shoes like crocs or something 😂😂 Hope this helps the confusion!

Yes. It's a long story though. 😅 The Bit with frame length and 3 wheels vs 4 wheels wasn't in the original edit though. I added that in today.
