Interesting! However I suggest using Scotch Brite Dobie pads as they are just as effective but won't scratch the surface like steel pads do.

How long do you let it sit in solution and how do you scrub it ?

15-20mins , I scrubbed it with the scotch-brite stainless steel scrubber.
