My dear sister sent me (land-locked in Arizona) 2 Dungeness crabs for Christmas today. I have always been treated to crab in Seattle, all cleaned and ready to eat. This is a new experience for me, and the video saved me. And I agree - the very best way to eat this treat is chilled, picking it out as we eat. Nothing better!! Thank you, Jim.
You can use the "unedible parts" to create a crab stock. Put them in a liter of water (or depending on the intensity of the crab taste you want), with some spices such as some whole onion and garlic, and bring to a boil and simmer for 10-20 minutes. Strain afterwards then put in a jar. For example, you can use this crab stock to cook ramen, or even add flavor to rice or stir fry.
thank you very much. it helped me a lot to clean a crab.thanks uncle. i am studying in 10th.so i teached my friends hw to clean the crab. thank you so much
Good job cleaning! I cannot eat crab unless it's cleaned properly and all the guts are removed. Then I get a toothbrush and scrub all that green stuff out. Thats just my personal preference
Such violent and ruthless demolition of gods creation; only to be narrated by the most verbally articulate man on earth…🤣.. mmmmm crab!! Great video! 👍
I have to say I have been processing crabmeat for 15 years and this is about the hardest way of doing it There are much easier ways with the right tools
